Broadfield Academy achieves GOOD Ofsted grade

Since 2017, Broadfield Academy has been on a journey of improvement and we are delighted that they have been awarded a GOOD Ofsted at their recent inspection.

Previously graded as Required Improvement, staff at Broadfield Academy and Aspire Academies Trust have worked extremely hard to develop the school's systems, processes and curriculum to enhance the overall offering they provide their children.

Speaking about her staff, Principal Bijal Shah said "I could not have asked for a more dedicated and committed team. They have remained resilient and continue to go the extra mile for our school community. These efforts were recognised by the Ofsted Team".

Vicky Parsey, CEO of Aspire Academies Trust added "I am very proud of how staff at Broadfield Academy and Aspire Academies Trust have worked together to implement a variety of initiatives to support the children currently at the school and in years to come".

The inspectors spoke about the excellent journey the school has been on and the extent to which the pupils enjoy school and learning, working hard to try to meet the high expectations made of them. They praised the staff for the way in which they have designed an ambitious and well-organised curriculum. They also noted that behaviour is excellent and that school is a safe and calm place where learning is fun.
