Aspire Science Challenge Winners

Our school staff and children got involved with Science Week in a variety of different ways this year, one of which was the Aspire Inter-School Design Challenge.

As part of their remote learning, children were asked to design a product that could be used around the house to make their life (or their families lives) easier.

The children got really involved with the challenge and came up with some fantastic ideas. All designs were really imaginative and a lot of thought and effort went into them, so thank you to everyone that took part.

Each school chose a winning design. Congratulations to the school winners, Noah in Year 3 at Bovingdon Academy, Rebecca in Year 4 at Bedmond Academy, Fola in Year 4 at Knutsford Primary Academy, Sharvesh at The Grove Academy and Nehir who is in Year 2 at Hammond Academy.

Each winner's entry also got put forward to be considered for the overall Trust winner. All entries were un-named, did not show which school they were from and were judged by a consortium of adults across the Trust.

The overall winning design was from Nehir. Congratulations Nehir, The Rainbot is a brilliant invention!
