    Learning and growing together

    All of the Aspire Academies Trust leadership team members are highly experienced individuals.  Together, we make for a group of visionary thinkers who thrive on doing things differently, continuously improving and rising to the challenge.

    Our leadership team includes a broad range of both commercial and educational expertise, allowing us to take a strategic view of how to best support our Academies and drive them forward successfully.  To help in this task, we have dedicated Finance, HR, Premises and Compliance Officers to ensure we create a network that is structurally sound and commercially strong.

    Each school and individual brings their own unique perspective to the Trust, but we share a common belief in creating a learning environment that allows our Academies to aim high and achieve big things.  We recognise that each of our Academies has a different skill set and their own identity, both of which we’re keen to protect.

    Many of our leadership team are also parents, so we understand how important it is to give children the best start in life.  We want that for our own children and so we naturally extend our concern to each of the children the Trust supports.

    Aspire allows Hammond Academy to benefit from close collaboration with the schools which make up the Aspire Trust. The partnership allows heads of school, teaching staff and Chairs to share knowledge and information which can benefit best practice

    Working as part of the MAT allows Hammond Academy to work in close partnership with the other schools, sharing best practice and developing leadership at all levels. It allows us to draw on a wider pool of opportunities for CPD and develop a Trust-wide approach to staff development and succession planning. It is an excellent mechanism for ensuring that support and challenge is directed to where it is needed through close workings with the Executive Principal. It certainly allows the school to focus on teaching and learning for the children alongside the valuable support of other specialists in finance and HR.
