Casual Catering Assistant


Grade: HB (FTE £15,014) pro-rata + fringe, part-time and term time only


We are looking for a casual catering assistant to cover shifts at one or more of the Trust’s Hertfordshire academies, to help keep up our excellent standards of service at peak times or during a period of staff absence.


The role involves:

 

  •  Preparing, cooking and delivering meals under supervision of the Cook
  •  Supporting other related catering duties
  •  Cleaning duties in the kitchen and servicing areas
  •  Checking deliveries of food
  •  Topping up supplies of condiments and cutlery

The Grove Academy


Sports Coach


Grade: H4 (FTE £17,772 - £19,430) pro-rata + fringe. Hours: 35 p/w term time only
Fixed term until 25th July 2018 in the first instance.


Can you inspire children with your specialist PE knowledge and ability to be a positive role model?


The Grove Academy is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and enthusiastic Sports Coach. We are looking for an organised, positive, passionate individual with strong behaviour management skills who have the ability to build positive relationships with pupils. Experience of working within a Primary School is desirable, experience of at least working with primary aged pupils is essential.


This role is perfect for graduates and current students seeking to go into teaching.


The role includes covering teachers during their release time and the delivery of after school clubs. You will prepare and deliver PE lessons to suit all abilities of the class and positively manage behaviour, together with our Senior Sports Coach.

Bedmond Academy


Early Years Practitioner


Grade: H4 (£17,772 - £19,430 pro-rata) + fringe 32.5hrs per week term time


Bedmond Academy has an exciting job opportunity for an Early Years Practitioner to work in our combined Nursery/Reception class. Bedmond Academy is a small, friendly village school set in the heart of the village commuinity. We are looking for an enthusiastic, energenic and caring Teaching Assistant to support the class teacher and children's development and learning.


The successful canditate will have:

  •  Level 3 qualification or equivalent
  •  Good knowledge and understanding of EYFS
  •  Experience of the EYFS setting and curriculum
  •  Be able to support groups of children and individuals with their learning needs
  •  Assist with planning, delivery and assessment of learning activities
  •  Take responsibility for assessment, recording and monitoring of key children
  •  A supportive and nurturing approach to children with social and emotional needs

Bovingdon Primary Academy


Admin Assistant – Maternity Cover


Required as soon as possible, part-time on a fixed term contract until July 2018
We are looking to appoint a part-time Administrative Assistant to start as soon as possible, the sucessful candidate will be working in our school office providing support to our Principal, SLT and School Business Officer.


This is a fixed term maternity cover until July 2018 the hours are 20 hours per week, 12.30-4.30 pm Monday - Thursday and 12.00-4.00 pm Friday.


The ideal candidate will be fully proficient in clerical and administrative work, and will have had at least six months experience of working in a school environment, in a administrative position.


We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly manner, as a key part of the role will be assisting at reception, dealing with parents, pupils and visitors to the school. Excellent organisational and ICT skills and knowledge of SIMS are a must.
