Salary £50 - £60k dependent on experience

Aspire Academies Trust is a successful Multi-Academy Trust with six schools and a Teaching School in Hertfordshire. We have an outstanding opportunity for a Chief Operating Officer to join our central team to lead the estate management and operations of the central trust and its six schools.
This is a senior position in the Trust working closely with the CEO and CFO focusing your energy and skills in the following areas:
- Estates management
- IT and compliance
- Supplier and procurement management
- Bids and grants
The person we are looking for will have extensive experience in as many of these areas above as possible as well as significant leadership experience. You will need the ability to take the strategic overview, plan creatively and successfully within financial constraints and deliver a seamless operation that maximises learning opportunities. You will have a track record of driving efficient service and achieving greater economies of scale.
You will require strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to build highly effective internal and external business relationships at all levels. You will be resilient and able to handle a diverse and complex workload whilst maintaining a positive approach. You will require strong people management skills and will lead a team of managers of their specific areas. Your values will need to align with those of the Trust.
This role offers challenge, reward and role development for the right candidate. The role is based at our central office in the town centre of Hemel Hempstead with regular travel to all our sites in Hemel Hempstead and Watford.
